SHEEP GOT WAXED
For the second time, Sheep Got Waxed performs a full solo concert at the legendary Tamsta club.
Sheep Got Waxed is a 12-year-old band that still manages to muddy the musical waters and be super weird. Guitar, saxophone and drums are accompanied by various effects and digital percussion, so the trio's music is technically and compositionally complex. Still, a surprisingly fresh combination of jazz, electronica and punk is friendly to any curious ear. The group remains one of the most successful exports of the Lithuanian alternative music scene.
The group boldly manifests musical extremes, plays with contrasts - caresses and bites, freezes and burns, shampoos and waxes. The albums have their own narratives and are characterized by programming, so the trio is also in demand in the context of other arts - they create music for the theater and sound for silent cinema.
